SOME BIG QUESTIONS THAT REQUIRE AN ANSWER

Chairman of Sefton Conservative Federation Martyn Barber is asking local residents to challenge Labour Party activists ahead of the 2026 Sefton MBC all-out local elections.

Commenting Martyn Barber said:

"When a Labour Councillor or member knocks at your door, requesting your vote, ask these simple questions. You have been told by the Labour Government that you have to build 6840 new homes by 2030 within the Borough of Sefton. Please give me the answers to these questions"

1. Where will the new GP’s surgeries be sited?
2. Where will the new NHS dentists be placed?
3. What extra spaces will be provided for primary school and secondary school pupils?
4. What impact will these new homes have on the sewage system and the water supply
to our homes? Water pressure is already being reduced, will it be reduced still
further?
5. What plans have you to redesign the road networks which are already under severe
pressure?
6. How many acres of green belt land do you intend to compulsory purchase to
achieve this housing target?
7. Has the Local Plan been updated to accommodate this increase in population?
8. Will you as our local Labour Councillor still be in office in 2030?
