People struggling with their mental health will be better supported thanks to a £10 million funding boost for organisations working to prevent suicides, including residents in the Liverpool City Region.

It is apparent that many of our local Labour Councillors do not understand their role in the local community.

Instead they try and confuse the electorate by referring to national and other issues, over which they have no control or expertise.

Sefton MBC is to receive more than £600,000 in additional funding to help vulnerable residents at risk of becoming homeless, or who are already sleeping rough.

The cash, announced on Wednesday, includes a grant for Sefton Council worth £612,999 for use over the next 12 months.

At last night’s Sefton Council meeting, Conservatives voted against Labour’s 4.99% increase in Council Tax.
